There are. Not to mention there are ways to control people like that via science as well.

It'd be nice to avoid that. I'd rather nobody feel they have to resort to killing anyone who might not want to give up an orb - and the idea of any kind of temporary brainwashing or mind control isn't very pleasant, either, even if it's not death. I wouldn't want any of that sort of shit done to me.
