It's about family, I think. When I was a kid, we'd...spend half the night waiting for our Dad to show up, and he almost never did. So I'd do what I could to make it fun. Tell him stories, make him his favorite pasta - macaroni. It's all we had sometimes, so I had to get creative. Put marshmallows in it once, it was disgusting, but he loved it. Thought it was exotic.

I never had much of a Christmas, but I tried to make sure he did. Guess I'm trying to make up for lost time or something, but I dunno. Maybe my 'cheer' is a little over the top.
