I don't really get their religious system, either, to be honest. It doesn't really line up with my own. It's just that I've seen a lot of people try to use disagreeing with my own religion and wanting to free people from it who don't want to be freed as an excuse to start wars and I don't want to be a part of something like that.

[ She sighs. It's complicated and she can't boil it down to something simple any easier than anyone else can. ]

I know no matter what happens, some people will probably get hurt, you know? The greater hand we take in it all, the more responsible we're going to be for the outcome. I just want to make sure that if we do get involved that it's for the right reasons.
