It's the orb — she's been using it to kill and make herself stronger. She's quaking this place with a damn flick of her wrist.

If I can't drive her to unconsciousness, I'll just have to keep her busy enough with my own magic that she can't focus on bringing the building down.

Keeping her distracted from the quakes is priority. Lot of people'll die if we don't.

Would setting her on fire be enough of a distraction?

[She's trying to kill all of them, and is powerful enough that she might succeed. That's enough to remove many of Sabriel's issues with using lethal force.]

Time to see how much power she has- and how long she can survive with the orb out of her possession.

[She must have made a different deal than So-Yeon, and probably hasn't expended the kind of power the other woman did before her death... but if the Orb hollowed out one person who wielded its power, it's possible that it's an unavoidable side effect of drawing on it directly.]

Understood. We'll just have to assume that she has a large reserve of power to draw from, and be pleasantly surprised if we wear her out.

And what's taking Viveca? Last time, she teleported us out as soon as we got the Orb?
