[For once, Rosinante is sharing a video to the network rather than text or voice. It's quickly clear why: he's speaking from the deck of an enormous battleship, with its many towering masts, and artillery guns that look like they're designed to be operated by someone even larger than he is.]

Before the last mission, I had a few of you asking to see the sort of ships I worked around back home. I think a couple even wanted to learn a little about how to sail in case we ever end up on the sea going after one of these orbs.

So if any of that sounds useful, or if you're just curious, I'm in the simulation room with a battleship, and yes, you can fire the cannons.

[Because surely that was going to be someone's first question.]

Just yourself. Unless you're planning a picnic, I guess, but the ship's got everything else you're likely to need.

Oh, a picnic! Haven't had one of those in a while. Best not to get too ahead of myself though.

This. Won't involve water? Just that. I can't swim. With the auto-mail and all. Weighs me down.

No swimming. There's a ramp to the deck, and the sea's calm. Nobody's going in the water today if they don't want to.

[Which is good, because he can't swim either.]

[chrysology]

That's okay then. I should manage.

[Assuming nobody jokes around in pushing people into the water or something. Ed figures it should be okay. That he could manage to stay on the ship.]

I've only ever been on a smaller row boat. Not anything that big.

[callada]

Well, now's your chance. And if we ever need to do it for real in a mission, you'll know a little bit more about how to keep the thing going where you want it to go. You'd be surprised how something so big can get moving fast in a good wind with all those sails unfurled. Stop on by whenever you like, I'll be here.

[And he kind of doesn't want to leave. It's comfortable on the ship. But he won't tie up the room forever.]

If we do deal with this for a mission, I'm gonna possibly be screwed if I fell overboard. But yeah, may as well give it a try in practicing or whatever. For now, this'll be safer and all to try it out.
