what i'm gettin from this place is that i can't go back to where i was, this place is in fuckin' space and those are actual fuckin' stars out there, and you lot like to get fucked up drunk sometimes.

so, since you lot are so ready to offer up advice, i got two things:

one, where can i get a fuckin' good drink?
two, where can i punch the shit out of something? or someone. volunteers? i'm definitely taking volunteers. come on, everyone's so helpful here, right?

[Daisy shows up to the training room three hours later, having finally gotten out of bed and showered, even though she’s just going to end up sweaty all over again. She looks around the room to see no one else is in here yet, so she just takes that as an opportunity to stretch out.]

( he doesn't get lost but it does take him some time to find the room. it's not like he's got a map or a gps or something to get him around.

but, when he ambles in, he makes it like he meant to show up at this time all along. )

[Daisy looks over her shoulder when he speaks up, straightening up slowly as she stares at him in confusion. She doesn't remember him having a full beard a few days ago...

[Distracted still, Daisy squints in confusion.]

( that catches him off guard and though he's met bones, his mind doesn't immediately make the connection. )

[He’s just messing with her right? Brows knitting together at the obviously different accent, Daisy looks past him towards the door as if expecting for the other guy to be out there.]

( he stares at her like she's gone crazy because billy's beginning to think she has. )

[Daisy smiles a little regardless. Grabbing her elbow, she stretches out her shoulder before shaking out her wrists.]

So you going to stretch too or are we just getting straight into this?

[Sparring is her way of clearing her head, and with everything that's gone on for Daisy on a personal level lately, she definitely needs this.]

( he does pull off his jacket and tosses it aside, leaving him in a very garish hawaiian shirt that he loves. )

Whereas Daisy's style is completely the opposite and is usually seen greys and black. She managed to find a pair of workout leggings and a loose fitting top in the pile left for everyone on the station to sort through.

Stepping into the middle of the mat, Daisy checks her footing before looking up at him. Frowning sympathetically, she lowers her hands since he clearly needs a minute.]

It's a lot to take in, especially if you've never been to space before.

( he's not jealous, he much prefers keeping his feet on solid ground. and yeah, fuck it, while this solid, there's also a bunch of gaping black space if this thing was blown to pieces. )

Yeah. Spent a lot of time in space, actually.

[To the point that it's almost normal to her now. Of course all of the different customs on each planet were hard to get used to.]

But we've been going to planets pretty often, hardly any time has been spent up here.

( he rubs his hands together and then down on his pants before he rolls his shoulders. )

About three months now, almost four. Interesting? Yes. Probing? No.

Some of us were transforming into monsters on the first mission. So, that was fun…

Thankfully some of the orbers found a cure before it got to that point. I honestly have no idea what would've happened if they hadn't...

[Daisy runs her fingers through her hair, pushing it out of her face.]

Anyway, hopefully the next mission is less intense.
