Alright, I know I haven’t been here as long as a lot of you and there’s something I need to understand.
Unless I’m mistaken, this planet is dying. Nothing living grows and there's no sunlight. It sounds like the orb may have had a hand in some of that, but not all.
And when we touch the orb, we will leave with it and abandon everyone on this planet to their fate.
Unless I’ve misunderstood and retrieving the orb will make this place livable again.
Did I get that right?
