The mission is always find the orb. By any means necessary.

We have yet to find it, which means there are stones unturned somewhere near.

The orb does not wish to leave and believes we are close to finding it. Thus the orb is here and we have simply not uncovered it yet. To leave would hinder our own efforts.

On a previous mission, we were unable to leave. I'm not asking anyone to abandon the mission. Simply to inspect the border of the town, and see if it is possible.

I read the summary provided by 'Sabriel'. If it is not possible, what do you believe that means? And if it is, what would that prove? Is there something you are wishing to test beyond the ability to leave?

I have recently been reminded of that mission quite vividly.
