What if this asteroid isn’t an asteroid, but another orb? I know it sounds crazy, but crazier things have happened.

Either this world is huge or we're tiny, and it wouldn't be the first time the teleporter's changed our bodies, either. The size could stand to reason.

But if it's not another orb, what is it?

Much bigger. They gave us a timeframe of when it’s supposed to hit, but what if they’re wrong? We can’t guarantee to have that much time to figure this out, and I know we need to find the orb they’ve detected here but…

If that were the case, I think we'd be pretty much out of luck, wouldn't we? Not much way to collect an asteroid from here.

They want to be connected again, from what I understand. It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve had two orbs on one mission.

But we don’t actually know if that’s the case yet.

Especially when he feels like garbage for potentially watching an entire civilization get destroyed. You do what you can, huh? But after a few days, she'll get a response back from him that is just as subdued as the rest of them have been trying to handle all of this:]

Hey, Daisy, I've got this where everyone else can hear it — but... no dice on the asteroid being anything but an asteroid. It's composed of some basic materials, some a little more alien to me than others, but ultimately... I can't see anything that establishes it as more than a run of the mill meteor.

Um! Also, the planet itself, it's about the size of Japan, if you wrapped it up into a ball Katamari-style. Nothing else to report on in the sky; it's all pretty basic stratosphere.

... That's about all I got.

Sorry I couldn't give anyone any helpful revelations.

Definitely wouldn’t make it any easier, but we don’t know for sure what it is yet. Newt is going to look into it, and I hope I’m wrong.
