Let's say I accept the premise that I've been brought through unknown means to a space station at an indeterminate, extrasolar location.

[ She doesn't, but she's already got the sense that the argument isn't going anywhere. Also that no one cares that this is like, eighty different kinds of illegal. ]

Has anyone successfully met the conditions specified to change what they regret? How is that even possible? Is there any evidence that your actions here can actually alter the past?

If you believe it, what convinced you?

If you don't, but you're still playing along with all this, why?

[...Isn't telling other people not to do something, and then refusing to adhere to that standard yourself, kind of the literal definition of hypocrisy?

Fortunately, Ryunosuke manages to keep his brain from turning that thought into a text for once, and he sends a more diplomatic version instead.]

At the very least, it's fairly contradictory. But, you are right about that... The whole crew has largely varying opinions on the matter.

No, of course, I completely understand... My apologies if I came off as unduly harsh on the matter.

[That's exactly how he likes to approach these things as well, isn't it? Gathering as much information as possible, piecing together the truth...]

I would say so though, yes. There are a few members who are a bit more prickly and like to make their displeasure more publicly known, but so far I'd say they're more of a minority.

[Joel and Felix spring to mind, in particular.]

But... I should also be upfront again, that I've only been here a few months myself. There are others who have been on the crew for far longer and have far more experience with this team, and they may tell you differently.

Well, I'm happy to help, of course. With this, and with other questions, if you happen to have more of them in the future. 🙂

[Do you know about emojis, Scully? He is happy to tell you about emojis.]
