[He figured that as well from the lack of information--and he thought he remembered when Strange came in.]
Great. I can't tell you how secure this line is considering we can still communicate with the station's systems right now but I also know the AI can listen and see everything on the station anyway.
[So a verbal conversation in person wouldn't really help make it private. He doesn't have time (or desire) to figure out if his suit could secure a line for them since no one else had the same tech but he fiddles a little anyway and then yolo's out this info dump.
There's also an extra moment here where it occurs to him that Olivia had been watching the hell out of his every movement back then because of certain...tech shoved into him, and wondered if she could still track that or if it wasn't connected to the station at this time if it had been an upgrade added for their team specifically when Viveca and Degar began the recruiting process. Well, it didn't matter at the moment.]
Well, when I first arrived on the station Olivia was just waking up after a stint of "inaction." Her programming was thought to be lost entirely at the time. Of course, there were some technical difficulties with her coming back online due to the outdated processes of her core--and the fact the station had a new AI in place since then. Viveca and Degar explained the situation as best they could and we dealt with the issues. Olivia was sitting tight in a nice new structure. All comfy and safe.
You know. All back in our time.
[Do you kinda get the gist of what he's saying without him going into too much detail on the specifics? She was corrupted, erased, and then slowly put herself back together and caused problems coming back online. They dealt with her. As an assurance in case she was listening in, he included the fact that she's still alive in their time...that part was true at least and not an added lie but very purposefully included.]
private; with some attempt at securing the line
