well... welcome to the world of horror clichés. disembodied giggles, tiny foot prints, creepy children, that's all par for the course. wouldn't put it past this castle to actually be haunted on top of everything else.

So you think this has to do with actual ghosts?

I wouldn't put money on it - but we keep encountering plenty bullshit on these missions, plenty things that stretch everyone's understanding of how the world works. ghosts are a bit in the realm of 'sure, that may as well happen' right now.

that said I sure would prefer someone flesh and blood giggling creepily at you from the dark corners of the castle.

I'd prefer no one giggling creepily.

Footprints basically in the middle of the hall like whoever it was just disappeared. The giggling happened right when I got close and then it was gone. So if it's no ghost, it's something that's either blending in with the environment or leaving echoes behind once it's gone.

my drone is busted, but my goggles can track foot prints and heat signatures. you want some eyes?

I personally don't look good in goggles, but sure, whatever helps.
