I do feel like we can say with a relative amount of certainty that there is some sort of higher power in Taeum, presumably the Highest One that Angrial refers to, and they seem, based on what Finn and I sensed, to have an Orb. I'm not sure what that means for reports of the orb potentially being in Sedorum, but frankly, this whole situation is bullshit and if there are in fact two orbs or two parts of one whole orb that we have to figure out a way to combine, I wouldn't be surprised.

In any case, this is Trafalgar Law, reporting in that Daisy, Finn, Cora and myself have been branded traitors and taken into custody for attempting to breach the area where the orb is contained. I don't have access to my abilities and I assume the same goes for the other three.
[A long pause where Law presumably just silently ruminates on the fact that he has ended up in Heaven Jail and really of course this would happen.]

This is not a request for a rescue, simply something to keep in mind as work to find the orb continues. As well as a test on my part to confirm that our comms are still functional from in here.

That's why I don't understand the appeal of the military. Even if you don't agree with what your commanding officers, or think it's wrong, you have to do it anyway?

Disagreements happen all the time. As for right and wrong, you might not have the full story of why your leader is doing something, just like these people don't. In the end, it boils down to your trust in your commanding officer.

If you don't trust them, there's no point in following them into battle. Life and death is on the line.

That's the difference. Every member of my crew is with us because they want to be and they chose to follow me specifically.

Oh? So your crew is an exception to the rule? More crews should operate like that.

We're really lucky in a lot of ways. And I don't disagree. I wish all the time that we had a commanding officer on the station who's like the one I serve with back home. If Shepard were here, he'd be right in the middle of it with the rest of us-- and probably poking the biggest, baddest player on the field.

I know the type. And I can understand why they'd have a loyal cree but I'm also glad to not have them here.

I can't see him making any deals to undo his regrets, so he probably won't show up.

You say that but while I can't speak for anyone else, I didn't feel like I had full control of my faculties when the deal was offered. I'm not certain I would have accepted it if I'd been fully lucid.

But I do hope for your sake and ours that you're right. The fewer people, especially the chaotic types, that have to get involved in this situation, the better.

I wouldn't really mind if Shepard arrived, honestly. He has a lot of experience making hard calls like we've been facing.

Do you really think what we need is more people with hard opinions on the situation? It's not like everyone is just going to fall in line with whatever decisions he arrives at. We're not his crew.

I'm not disagreeing with that part, it's the second half of your sentiment I was taking issue with.

Though personally I'd rather keep my crew out of harms way, as much as it'd be a welcome familiar face.
