The communications have been fixed now, right? That's good, because I have some information that those in Sedorum could use.
I've joined the Taeum military and have been working with their magic-users. They're pretty confident in a quick victory. Our commander Angrial says the Highest One will probably make a move in a few weeks. I don't know where exactly we're going, though they did mention a district called Uch'ors.
As for the soldiers themselves, they say that by fighting and winning the war, they'll earn a place in the cycle of reincarnation faster. I hope someone can use this information for their own investigations.

[Did he miss that information? Or was it something only the military knew? That changed things.]

[That they won't do the same things again? That they become a different person? An animal?]

I wonder if this was always the case here. It's hard to guess what they need the orb for, but...
In any case, reincarnation can be a tempting thing. No wonder some people are in this.

[Though he supposed that was not a question they can easily answer.]
Why a few weeks and not immediately? If she's confident.

That I don't know. Maybe they're building their forces more or making sure the troops are trained.

... In any case, this was helpful. Thanks. It's worth thinking over.

Hey. [Calm, lackadaisical, usual.] So, how is Upstairs treating you? Like a good little boy~?
[That teasing lilt to his voice is familiar by now, too.]

Clearly I'm missing a bad influence. You know where I can find one?

[Wow, he feels dorky just saying it but fuck it. It's how he rolls without the encouragement anyway.]

[Hint hint]

[Why did they have to be separated again? Damn mission.]

[Imagine the hand over heart in pain gesture here because he's probably doing it real-time as he speaks through the communicator. Very dramatically.]

Just trying to keep you motivated.

The people of Sedorum aren't soldiers, they're desperate volunteers we've been training in pit fights.

[He sighs] Yeah. At least we can communicate back and forth now, so the flow of information will be much faster.
no subject
Yeah, that's definitely helped but hopefully the information we're piecing together is enough to figure this out.
