Noticed an influx of new and kinda-new faces over the last few days or weeks or whatever.

So here's my handy dandy welcome board! Recently updated, to keep with the times.

Read it over and get a feel for how this place goes; I'm gonna finish off this coffee before I take any questions.

The printer in the armory, but also I've taken some back from missions. Don't knock it, I've used it to make a lot of shit.

They're mine now, that's what counts.

i wasn't. people here are from places i've never even heard of, so i was just curious to see something from another... world, i guess.

I'm from Earth, which seems to be a popular origin here.

But I have things from the worlds we've visited. As long as it's on your person at the end of a mission, it comes back with us.

sure. those are just my favorite means of... i mean, my favorite weapon.

Welcome to the club. We're full of fighters and killers and pacifists alike, the crew's full of diversity.

I got a sword from a quest under the ocean once, and I took a dagger from a dungeon full of snakes.

I've been here since the second mission, so there's been a lot of variety in the busyness.

what's it like? for real.

The missions? Each one's too different, but Newt's not wrong about the orbs being pretty fucked up.

We get a mission file with varying time to prepare, then get tossed into a new world to track down the orb. Sometimes they have a deal we need to end first, sometimes they're just hanging out.

Sometimes they float.

We found one in a volcano crater once.

It was full of lava crabs.

did you fight them?

[oiorpata]

I rode one. And some people made armor from the lava-resistant shells.

kinda bummed i missed it.

[oiorpata]

The crabs were the best part. You could probably replay it in the simulation room. Training and all that.

I think it was the only mission without any people involved, so far.

no people, just lava crabs??

No people, but there were other animals and creatures there too. There might be a file on them. The islands were uninhabited.

The lava crabs just happened to be in the volcano, where the orb was.
