Noticed an influx of new and kinda-new faces over the last few days or weeks or whatever.

So here's my handy dandy welcome board! Recently updated, to keep with the times.

Read it over and get a feel for how this place goes; I'm gonna finish off this coffee before I take any questions.

Perhaps I never had a sweet tooth to lose then. For now, I'd like to keep the rest of them firmly in my mouth.

What about cakes or pastries? You're missing out if you avoid everything sweet.

Those aren't something I had the luxury of indulging in often either. You can have my share.

There's no reason you can't start now. We usually have plenty of downtime here between missions.

You might find something you like.

So I've heard. Downtime is another luxury I haven't gotten a taste for.

There's quite a few people on board who don't know what to do with themselves with downtime either. It's a popular boat.

The sunlight room's nice, if you like gardens, but you can program one into the simulation room too.

Tricking your mind into believing that something is real when it's not.
I suppose that will have to do in the absence of the real thing.

Oh, believe me, it's nowhere near as good as the real fucking thing, and it takes a lot of getting used to. You sort of have to train yourself to give in to the pretend.

But in the end it's still better than feeling stuck on a space ship without a real sky.
