Disheveled but more than happy to provide his services after dragging himself out of bed, he taps his knuckle on the chalkboard beside him — one that used to be Hermann Gottlieb's, may he rest in peace (in a not dead way — may he rest in peace on a beach or something while wholly alive and thriving).]

Noticed an influx of new and kinda-new faces over the last few days or weeks or whatever.

So here's my handy dandy welcome board! Recently updated, to keep with the times.

Read it over and get a feel for how this place goes; I'm gonna finish off this coffee before I take any questions.

You're still making some big assumptions here.

[Ben is awkward to use so he'll default to what's safe.]

... Yes. [ ben did not say that cal had to hide that he said it. ]

[And now Anakin is going to be upset with Obi-Wan.]

He didn't say anything to me.

[If he feels that there is some risk being themselves here, why would he only inform a random Jedi and not him? Did he not care what happened to Anakin?]

Maybe he didn't think he'd need to tell you? [ he doesn't know the relationship between the other jedi and his master, but he figures they know each other well and ben kenobi would mention something if he felt it necessary.

cal got a scolding right away but then again, cal and ben are on the same page about what it means to be a jedi in world after the clone wars. ]

Like whatever he's hiding from me?

[He's giving Obi-Wan a little leeway since he's figured things are weird for him right now, but he knows his master is withholding something from him and he doesn't have a lot of patience.]

I'm sure he has his reasons if he's hiding something? [ but that does suck. ] Have you asked him about it?

So he can lie to me? No thanks.

How are you going to find out the truth then?

It'll come out eventually.
