[It's that time again! ...good luck, Ximilia]
So, it seems to be just over sixty of us now. More than double the amount that was here when I first turned up. Looks like some of them left though, so I guess they changed their minds.
[Not that he knew most of them. But he has eyes. And a need to keep track of things like that.]
Far as we all know, this is the third time people have been brought here. Ninety-one days since we first started turning up.
Now, I ain't saying I'm an expert. But I'm just going to field a few questions before they come up.
[And undoubtedly leave it to the actual professional once the follow up questions come]
Yes, there's another area called the Northern Wing. No, we can't go in. Yes, we've met someone who seems to live on the other side. No, we can't talk to him.
[Except...that last part might not be true. He hasn't actually asked Viveca if they could talk to him]
We're meant to get a supply drop once every thirty days or so. Spare clothes and supplies are all stored at the end of the common room. You need something specific, speak to Viveca. Ain't promising she'll be able to get it, but can't hurt to ask, right?
If this is your first time in space, talk to Jim Kirk. He's been running sessions for anyone who hasn't been off planet before.
You need to eat more than the average person here, let Dusty Fields know. High calorie rations are marked, but he's keeping track of supplies with a couple of others.
[Oh, right-]
Guess I should also add, you want to get laid, talk to Newton Geiszler. I'm sure the Doc would love to give you a little TLC.
[:D]
If you've got any questions, you're looking for Sam Wilson.
[:D :D]
[ooc: Please feel free to threadjack to your heart's content. It's another free for all. Also, all links are there OOCly, for bothering purposes.]

they're irrelevant thoughts flitting through his mind, one way or another. )
Thank you for the information and directing of questions to various parties. May I ask what you are called?

[Well, more like he was hoping people would inundate Sam with questions. That's true friendship.]

Then thank you, Mister James. This was a helpful way to guide people toward different individuals with their own capacities.
Though is there a name for the mysterious individual in the section we cannot access? Official or unofficial in origin.
no subject
He's probably got a name, but you'll have to ask Viveca about that. He's the commander of this station though.

( it's not even weird, titles as names are standard enough, but it sure makes him wonder what in the world one guy needs a whole wing of a space station for. or what else is there, or a whole bunch of unanswerable things at present. what the hell! couldn't they at least get a tutorial? miss viveca, would you care to do a system announcement, "here are the things you should know, and twenty most likely ways to get yourself killed?" )
You've directed questions to a Mister Sam Wilson, but this one wishes to ask if you'd be willing to answer on as to your own occupations while on station, versus in attendance to a mission.
( please tell him what people have been doing here. and you, individual person, what have you been doing here. is there any danger of cabin fever, or are they gone elsewhere too often for that? what timeframes are they working in? he just doesn't know. )

Depends on the day. Pretty easy to lose track of time in the Sunlight room though. Or the Simulation room, I guess.
no subject
The Simulation room, are you able to choose what type of Simulation it runs?
( or are they all as buggy and terrible as the one he already experienced, asking for himself )

May the rest of your day pass uneventfully.
