So, it seems to be just over sixty of us now. More than double the amount that was here when I first turned up. Looks like some of them left though, so I guess they changed their minds.

Far as we all know, this is the third time people have been brought here. Ninety-one days since we first started turning up.

Now, I ain't saying I'm an expert. But I'm just going to field a few questions before they come up.

Yes, there's another area called the Northern Wing. No, we can't go in. Yes, we've met someone who seems to live on the other side. No, we can't talk to him.

[Except...that last part might not be true. He hasn't actually asked Viveca if they could talk to him]

We're meant to get a supply drop once every thirty days or so. Spare clothes and supplies are all stored at the end of the common room. You need something specific, speak to Viveca. Ain't promising she'll be able to get it, but can't hurt to ask, right?

If this is your first time in space, talk to Jim Kirk. He's been running sessions for anyone who hasn't been off planet before.

You need to eat more than the average person here, let Dusty Fields know. High calorie rations are marked, but he's keeping track of supplies with a couple of others.

Just because your country has a thing for child labor in the MILITARY doesn't mean squat! I'd dropkick whoever thought that was a good idea. That's dangerous and bad for your mental health.

Does it make you feel any better if I say I was an exception? I am a prodigy. And I just signed up to get access to their restricted research. I was aware there was the chance I'd be called to fight. But I figured maybe their research might have something that might help my brother, so. If it meant the chance to help Al. I took the risk.

They had their reasons for accepting me. Wanting to keep an eye on me.

Yeah, yeah. I know the feeling. Prodigy kid in an adult playground. I've seen my share of what it's like to be 'the exception', so that's just another reason I think it's a terrible idea. Adults are pricks, and not all of them are keeping an eye on you for good reasons.
