I, as well as several other orbers, have been serving aboard The Blue Dawn for the entirety of our mission so far. During that time, I've been able to develop a close personal relationship with Captain Jilleh, and I believe I've earned her trust.

[ what she did to earn that trust, she doesn't say, although it certainly involved less seductive methods than had been encouraged. ]

I've informed her that I have contacts that can be of some assistance in looking for someone who might be invaluable with regard to locating the orb, but can inquire without drawing unwanted attention to this individual, as it might be dangerous for them at the moment. [ it seemed the easiest way to describe the network, such as it is. ]

Her name is Cian. She would be about eighteen years old now. Her sister is Hivin, a member of the Dawn's crew. Reuniting them might be the key we need to discover the orb's location.

Message me directly if you have any information about her whereabouts — but remember, discretion is of the utmost importance.

I don't know where, exactly. But I thought if anyone would have seen her within our group, this would be the best way to get the word out — or at least make everyone aware to start looking for her.

She was on the Plunder with me.

I've been planning to defect to the Blue Dawn. She heard about it and asked me to help her do the same. I have her already and she'll be safe until we join you there. I'll be meeting with Lai later today.

I'm not saying we have the superior crew, but Jilleh is certainly capable of wrangling this many women in close quarters.

It's hardly that much of a challenge.

But I do like the sound of how she runs things.

It certainly feels more democratic, but maybe I'm just more used to how things are done on the station.

As long as everyone's having philosophical arguments on morality too, then it'll really feel like it.

I'm not nearly as built for some of the more physical tasks as our other crewmates. Perhaps you're the one who'll end up showing me a few things.

But I've dabbled in piracy before too, so the literal ropes aren't a mystery to me.

How exactly does one "dabble" in piracy?

You join a pirate ship and steal the goods. It's not a permanent life, but it's fun sometimes.

Though my experience was strictly over water prior to now.

Still, it's likely more firsthand experience than most aboard the ship have.

I imagine trying to adjust to the concept of sea legs is a little different.

There are probably a lot of things I have firsthand experience in that others here don't. Classical piracy's gone a little out of fashion for most.

Air legs? Sky legs? Definitely different, whatever it's called. It's fun finding new things.

Another reason why you'd be an asset to the crew.

That's not the word I'd use for all of it, necessarily, but yes, on occasion, it can be quite surprising.

Admittedly the Blue Dawn is definitely the one I'd prefer win this race, even if I wasn't about to board it.

It's hard for much to surprise me these days. I usually like the feeling.

So you don't have a bit of a competitive streak?

Oh, I definitely do. But it's hard for most people to compete with me.

No one skilled enough to make it halfway interesting?

[oiorpata]

I guess that depends on what kind of challenge I'm looking for.

Don't expect me to get any better at wielding swords, at any rate.

Well, if you ever did want to practice a little swordsmanship, I don't think there's anyone who can best me at it on board. Offer's open for you.

Truth be told, I could use the practice. And not because I expect to become a real swashbuckler any time soon.

Personally I'm of the opinion than any woman who wants to use a sword should learn, so you don't even need to give me an excuse for it.

Fine, but you're not allowed to laugh at how rusty I am.

I would never.

But I reserve the right to a little teasing if I can't help it.
