The Dick Van Dyke Show. I like a lot of the classic humor.

hey, that's a good one. he's one helluva dancer and tbh handsome af. still would tbqh.
no subject
First man to ever win my heart. Great dancer, perfect for laughs.
What things do you watch? Besides Lord of the Rings.

the office was a good time.
but i actually like live theatre more
don't tell anyone it'll ruin my rep as an unmitigated hooligan

[ it'd been during her catch-up of the more modern comedies, while she'd been cooped up at the compound. for all that they'd tried to trap her there, there hadn't been much else to do but take refuge in her biggest comfort. ]
I won't tell a soul. Your hooligan status lives on.
Plays or musicals?
no subject
and man, both. there's just something about it. they're different every time, and there's more... idk. soul? i guess. i dont wanna know how good ur editing is or that ur overworked underpaid SFX team worked their ass off to put smth on my screen
i just want ppl doing smth they love and bringing it to others becuz of that love, u feel me?

I didn't exactly have many chances to go see a play where I grew up. War mostly kept people off the streets and a lot of entertainment was limited. But those shows gave me a different world to live in for a while. The families in it, the laughter, the love. It saved me.
no subject
sorry to hear abt the war. that's rough to grow up in.
where was home 4 u? i lived in toronto in canada.

I was born and raised in Sokovia until a few years ago. It's a very small country in Eastern Europe. I eventually moved to New York. The northern part, not the city. But then I started to travel for a while. [ life on the run. ] Never had the chance to go to Canada though.
no subject
canada's a beautiful place. if u get the chance i say go for it. if u like naturey shit i have some recs.
if u like city shit then toronto and vancouver are p. good places to go.
no subject
[ though she's mostly been wanting and needing to keep a low profile, considering just about everyone considers her to be a danger. cottage life in the middle of nowhere isn't too bad, though. ]
I think I'd go for the "naturey shit". I like the quiet.
no subject
lotta wild country yet.
no subject
And what kind of lifestyle do you prefer? The city life, I bet.
no subject
( he goes where the people are. but, truthfully, he loves the wilderness too. different kinds of soul. the heart wants what the heart wants, and sometimes it craves loneliness in a way that's bone deep. )
do love that hustle tho. u aint wrong, red.

it's why im a musician.
and super obnoxious
and why i pull on the pigtails of pretty ladies
no subject
What kind of a musician are you?
no subject
idk if i'd give myself a label. i play a lot of things. like a lot of music. it's been a lifelong thing for me.
no subject
I wouldn't call myself a musician. Far from it. But I can at least say I do know how to play a bit of guitar.
no subject
music is a medium i use to reach them, i guess.
( plus, music has always stuck in his head better than anything. names and faces fade away. for some reason, music remains. )
no subject
the thought sticks with her. ]
If I asked, would you play some of your music for me?
no subject
what're u in the mood for sweetheart
no subject
Something hopeful.

— his voice isn't bad, per se, it's just clearly not his forte. no american idol in his future. but for the most part, no one would chase him off a stage.
the final riff gets a bit of playful improv, and then he takes a (very exaggerated) bow, guitar in hand before he winks broadly at her and turns the video off. )
i take cash, visa, and american express.
no subject
it's nice.
too bad her own face, hence her smile, is hidden from view. ]
That was lovely. Thank you.
This little space trip has me a bit dry on funds, though. But I could pay you with something else.
Nothing like that.
[ before he gets ideas. ]
