[ So, Finn waited an entire whole day before getting on here. There's a lot of Concerns(TM) that he'd like to voice, some of them to a few individuals in private, but he's managed to boil all of his thoughts down into some sense after yesterday. Which is where this comes in. ]

Hi, everyone. First of all, my eyes are fixed. I can see again. If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't worry. Everything's fine now.

Anyway, this was the second mission in a row that we've had to fight. Considering there's only been two missions, it's likely this will be the norm. We're working a lot better as a team now but we should have plans in place ahead of time, especially if we get split up like that again. Know each others strengths, weaknesses, get some offensive and defensive strategies for a typical battle. I just think it's something we should discuss as a group. I'm familiar with battle tactics and can offer up any intelligence that might be needed.

In the meantime, I've noticed that some of us here don't know how to fight or use most weapons. If you don't want to fight, that's okay, but these situations will probably keep appearing. It'll be best if you know how to defend yourself. If anyone wants to learn self-defense or how to properly use firearms, you can meet me in the training room in the morning. If there's enough interest, we can make this a more scheduled thing.

[ Finn clicks his side over to video, too, a bright smile on his face and his eyes back to their warm brown color again. Bonus, he's actually looking at you! ]

As soon as we got back, I was able to see again. I'm not sure how it worked. Not really willing to risk it again, just in case.

[ Might have been a fluke, ugh. But anyway- ]

Yeah, I know you're right. It's just-- I know a lot of things went badly on this mission that didn't have to. We do need to recover. I just don't like sitting idle.

[ There he is. Peter is so glad to see that Finn's eyes are back to being their pretty dark selves, without that depressing veil that ruined his eyesight. Peter winks at him, because he can, and to see if he will get Finn to laugh. ]

Maybe the magic only works on the planet Braccia? Either way, I'm just happy that you're better.

I know how that is. Too much time in our times and we start to think about all the things we don't enjoy thinking about too. I need to take it easy for a few weeks but if you want a cheerleader while you train...

[ Yeah, congrats, it does get him to laugh. ]

I am absolutely willing to have a cheerleader. But if that's not available some days, just company's appreciated, too.

[ Excellent~ It's a nice laugh. ]

I'd look great in a miniskirt you know, But I think I'll just find some pom poms. I'd like that. The company, I mean. Newt's going to organize a movie night, we could watch it together.

[ What the hell's a pom pom? ] You know what, I'm pretty interested in the cheerleading thing now.

Oh, really? Yeah, that sounds fun.

[ A strange-looking ball. One day Peter needs to request one to Viveca because pom poms are hard to explain but funny to play with. ]

Do you, now? I'll let you know that I never skip leg day.

I think we all need a night to unwind and have some fun. I'll be making some snacks since Newt said he's a danger in the kitchen.

[ Peter is...less so but he's still a messy cook. ]

[ Wow, Peter. That gets him laughing again. ] Yeah, I'm looking forward to it.

If you need help with snacks, let me know. I'm not great in the kitchen, but I'm not a danger either.

[ That was the goal, Finn, buddy. Peter just beams at him. God knows he's done worse things in life than putting on a skirt to make a friend laugh. ]

That I wouldn't mind. I can cook, but carrying the food around with a still-healing arm is tricky.

[ And Finn's pretty muscled, so... ]

I can handle that. Doctors say I have a strong back. I can carry whatever you need.

[ "Strong" may not be the correct word. "Miracle you're still alive" might have been more accurate. But Finn can carry bowls of food just fine, don't worry! ]

I won't have you moving furniture around, promise. But that's good to hear.
