[ So, Finn waited an entire whole day before getting on here. There's a lot of Concerns(TM) that he'd like to voice, some of them to a few individuals in private, but he's managed to boil all of his thoughts down into some sense after yesterday. Which is where this comes in. ]
Hi, everyone. First of all, my eyes are fixed. I can see again. If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't worry. Everything's fine now.
Anyway, this was the second mission in a row that we've had to fight. Considering there's only been two missions, it's likely this will be the norm. We're working a lot better as a team now but we should have plans in place ahead of time, especially if we get split up like that again. Know each others strengths, weaknesses, get some offensive and defensive strategies for a typical battle. I just think it's something we should discuss as a group. I'm familiar with battle tactics and can offer up any intelligence that might be needed.
In the meantime, I've noticed that some of us here don't know how to fight or use most weapons. If you don't want to fight, that's okay, but these situations will probably keep appearing. It'll be best if you know how to defend yourself. If anyone wants to learn self-defense or how to properly use firearms, you can meet me in the training room in the morning. If there's enough interest, we can make this a more scheduled thing.

[ Finn knows why he did it. He's hoping he's wrong. ]

A lot of things lined up at once. I was only supposed to be at the party briefly in case the break-in at the HQ didn't work. I'd already made a solid contact within the Lionettas, so being seen at the party before leaving unseen to help the heist was how I'd set up being able to keep my cover if I ended up needing to. In a complicated situation like that with a set of criminal underground families, you have to stay several steps ahead of them or you get killed for betraying them. I wanted us to get the orb and that meant contingency plans.
Sticking around and saving Newton would mean risking blowing my cover. Leaving jeopardized his safety, but it was done with the aim of helping all of us get the orb one way or another. It's a shit tradeoff, I know. I didn't like it either. But it's what I did, and those are the reasons why.

He considers the answer for a minute, rubbing at his eye, but he keeps coming back to the same thing he always comes back to. ]
The objective isn't worth the team. You say you did it for all of us, but I don't want the damn thing if that's how we're getting it. The more trust we lose in one another, the less orbs we get in the future. And if people start dying like this, we're not going to get any.

I don't want to lose anyone. You're all good people. It's taking me longer than I thought to figure out how to work in a group like this, I'm willing to admit that much, but I'll do better next time.

Okay. I hope so.
[ And, no, Finn's not just going to magically trust him again so easily. Rosinate has to prove it. At this point, they all have to. But Finn is more than willing to dole second chances. ]
