So, has everyone settled in alright? This is Viveca, by the way, for those who haven't talked to me yet.

It's going to take a while to track the signal of the first orb and charge the teleportation platform enough to transport all of you... so while we wait for that, I figured you could get to know each other a little better. You know that the success of your missions depends on you knowing each other and being able to work together, right?

Anyway — I happen to know of this game called "two truths and a lie". Apparently, it's a great way to get to know more about people. All you need to do is think of two true facts about yourself, and one that's not true. Let others see those, and they'll try to guess which one is the lie.

It's so easy a literal child could manage that. So have fun and make some friends... or at least learn more about your teammates!

It's a flying robot. A machine. It's this pain in the ass hunk of metal that chases me down and constantly gets in the way of everything.

[chrysology]

A robot? Huh.

I dunno. Not having a driver's license seems normal to me but then I'm just a kid and I walk or use the trains to get around myself. Eighty years is pretty old though.

[starer]

Nothing wrong with that. Trains are a classic. Quicker than a car, and you don't need to focus on driving.

Technically, I'm 106. Plus however many years there are between now and 2024.

[chrysology]

Exactly. Not like there's a lot of options travel wise back home yet anyway, when I can't drive yet.

But. Yeah, that's pretty old. Like. Granny Pinako old.

[....as if he actually has any clue how old Granny really is but still. She and his father are the oldest people he knows and even then Hohenheim kinda. Isn't entirely human so doesn't really count?]

I have no clue who that is. But in my defense, I wasn't awake for a lot of that time.

[Though before he's asked any questions he really doesn't want to answer-]

It's a long story, and I ain't going in to it.

You weren't? Ah, you don't have to tell me if you don't want. As long as you're okay now at least.

Well enough to head off on a space adventure.

Same. I guess they patched me up when I got here and all, considering what I last recall back home. I just hope my arm survives this adventure or my mechanic will kill me.

[Or just. Wrench to the head. Again. Then again she just might do the same if she found out anyone else touched said arm with messing with her precious work. It's kinda a lose-lose situation for him, really.]

You were in a fight?

[Because naturally, that's where his mind goes if someone needs patching up.

Yeah. Underestimated the bastard. He then made the mine collapse and I fell down and got impaled. Patched myself up as best I could with my alchemy but I may have then passed out and ended up here.

[And then been piggybacked out of there to get actual proper medical attention by the chimera he had saved from the rubble. Not that he is aware of that yet.]

You're better now though, right? Healed up and good to go?

[chrysology]

Seems like it. I guess they patched me up while I was asleep or whatever. Not gonna complain since I hate the hospital and all but. Not what I expected.

[starer]

They're expecting us to head out on missions. Can't do that if you're not in one piece.

[So to speak.]

Might want to avoid a repeat performance if you're coming out with us.

Yeah. Why I want to try be prepared and not get in the situation of being sent off with a busted arm.

Definitely want to avoid getting impaled again. Already took some years off of my life in trying to treat that as best I could with my basic understanding of biology and all.
