It is part of the orb's request, that my 'personal goal' requires I allow someone else to name me.

What is the importance of a name, to a human? I've used a name someone from my universe called me, to help conceal my identity; it did not feel like it belonged to me, but it served its purpose temporarily. Instead, I have a serial number associated with me. Something equivalent to an I.P. address to monitor me as an individual within Skynet...

What does it mean to you? Your 'name'?

In normal circumstances, I would not give a name, or randomly generate one if absolutely necessarily. Usually, it's not. But here, I feel it's fair to inform people of what I am.

[It's a genuine question. They're all expected to work together and telling people they were created to kill them makes that harder. There was very little to gain here by being truthful.]
