Newton was able to reach out and inform me that he's been gathering data about the Precursors, and that it's all there in his mind for those with the ability to retrieve it.

He also mentioned that as a result of drifting with them, their own memories are buried even deeper below that. This includes knowledge of their mental weaknesses that will prove useful, but Newton can't quite reach that himself to share.

I'm sure those taking action in that regard will be careful with this information - you'd better, anyway. But he's doing his best to help us however he can.
