[ For the second time since they've arrived in this system, Ade has a network post to make—though, his voice is different this time around—hoarser than before, with a notable air of fatigue to his tone. In a word, he sounds sick. ]

I'm sure we all already know the consequences of using any "powers" more than twice here, so I won't waste your time: mine overshot the limit. Ghost matter's eating at me now.

[ So far, he thinks, it's not too bad. He feels like he has a minor case of the flu rather than a deadly auto-immune disease. Still, he knows it's supposed to escalate and the fact that he can get sick at all now is disconcerting. He also doesn't know exactly how bad it's going to get before... well, before something can be done. Before they return to the station or the effects of the orb can be reversed. ]

And before anyone tries to get smart, it wasn't my choice. Bloody "powers" have a mind of their own. I'm just along for the ride.

Point is, if any scientific types need a willing test subject for treatments or seeing how this bug works, I'm your man. I'm going to be keeping a lower profile within the Security Division, too. Don't know how long I can pretend this is a cold before they start cottoning onto what's happened.
