for those of you who don't know what mistletoe is, it's a poisonous little plant and it's tradition to kiss under it. Dunno why, but that's what it's for, ask most earthlings and they'll confirm. so get to smoochin.

Well, Drift, ( McCoy drawled, all easy confidence in his frame as he played right off Drift's languid intensity, ) It's tradition, under the mistletoe.

( He let himself be crowded, but only so far, because he closed that half step between them, took Drift by his scruffy chin, and kissed him with slow, aching care. )

[ Drift kissed McCoy like a lost lover- slow and long before pulling back. ]

Is that enough? [ he asked, hoping it wasn't ]

I think we oughta make sure, ( he breathed. Bones let his thumb glide a path back along Drift's jaw, and followed that momentum forward with another kiss. )

You're making a mistake. [ Drift let his words say one thing as his teeth found the nape of a neck and his hands gripped the back of muscled thighs. ]

( He let out a low gasp for the frisson of heat that invoked, the suddenness of Drift's hands, the shock of teeth, and all the ways he wanted more.

McCoy drew his hands to Drift's chest and made himself pull back, all glassy-eyed reluctance. )

Easy, easy [ McCoy gasped and Drift thumbed along that near-perfect ridge of a cheekbone. He hated to break apart, but didn't want to rush. ]
