We have a way to evacuate the Hivawei.

Remi d'Arbes has answered our call. With his help, we'll create a path between worlds in search of a suitable planet for the Hivawei to settle. Our course will be set for Gyeonje - unless anyone has a suggestion for a place better suited - with the hope that in making our way to that world we'll find one closer, freeing up those of us based here to open more doorways for the Hivawei to travel through.

We need to be as certain as we can be that the world we lead them to is somewhere they're going to have a real chance to thrive. If anyone thinks they'd be suited to making that kind of assessment and would be willing to abandon the search for the orb to assist with this, let us know as soon as possible.

If there's anyone not already involved who wields magic, or similarly esoteric [ shout out to Itachi for the verbiage ] power, and could spare some time - we'd be glad of you.

This will not be a small feat. If and when Chief Yerek decides it's time to tell the people, they'll be managing the logistics of a mass evacuation while preparing to leave behind everything they've ever known.

I'm hoping somebody with the skill to run whatever tests we have the equipment for on environments we encounter on the way will accompany the scouting party. If not, whoever does go will need to go armed with as much information as possible.

If Iris can truly create items from his art as he has claimed, then Doctor McCoy could have him duplicate his tricorder. Additional units could not hurt as far as testing goes.

I believe that the woman Andy would be an ideal leader for the scouting party if she is willing. She is uniquely suited to survive in other worlds, and is clever enough to be able to grasp the tricorder's basic use without much instruction. She is not the only candidate capable of such a thing, only the one I would recommend. I will speak to her.

I cannot say whether or not your magic will be compatible with my chakra — but we should consider testing that before we advance along those lines as well.

Gyeongje's in here, all right. Atmosphere and soil readings, weather patterns and some basic scans of the locals.

Jim's tricorder won't capture detailed physiological data the way mine can, but there should be enough here to compare...

Not to throw a wrench in the works, but both devices' data won't mean much to someone without the relevant scientific trainin' and survey experience. I don't doubt Ms. Andy's capabilities as a tank, but havin' assisted in colony evacuations and resettlements myself, I'd feel more comfortable going along.

I've also taken the liberty of putting together a brief information packet of what necessary parameters will need to be met in order to ensure any planet is a safe, livable homeworld for them.

My thought was that specific expertise would be less required than the ability to do comparative analysis, but I take your point.

Given that we cannot be sure of what danger may present itself on the other worlds traversed on the way to Gyeongje I would rather not risk one of our few trained medical personnel unless necessary. （ veiled as it is, it's a showing of concern. andy can look after herself, but she cannot be everywhere at once should they be attacked by something on the other side of one of these doors. ） However, if you deem it to be so, I will support it. I can send a clone with you. It will disappear if damaged, but its knowledge would transfer back to me.

（ meaning, it could also be used as a messenger if needs be, should the magic interfere with the earpieces or otherwise. he has done it before, and while it would halve his chakra temporarily it would be a worthwhile price to ensure the safety of the team. ）

Doctor, Newton Geiszler will also be making the trip. It seems his skillset is similarly tailored to this, but I don't think it'd hurt to have the two of you approaching it from your individual perspectives.

It's your call on where you think you're best placed. If you're going, the both of should head over as soon as you can.

I would caution against Newton's involvement.

He is intelligent, and skilled — but he has been afflicted by one of the orbs upon a regret change that can cause him to lose one of his six senses at random.

I would sooner not risk putting him in the field where that could be a liability to the others. Such a misstep could be the difference between success and failure here. However, that is only my recommendation and you are free to disregard it as you see fit.

I hear you and appreciate the insight, and if we have to pull him out we will, but until then I think we need to utilise all the resources we have.

It's looking likely I'll be on hand to help generate the path as we progress. Rest assured I'll keep a close eye and be ready to mitigate any consequences if the orb's affliction does take hold.

Duplicate only. It will know what I know, have access to the skills I have, but I do not have any level of telepathic or psychic connection with them beyond the intuition of knowing how I myself would act in situations that require it. However, when it is destroyed or chooses to release itself — all it knows and experienced will return to me.

In one of our prior missions, in the afterworld of the planet Giva, there were two disparate realms called Taeum and Sedorum. We had no communication between the two realms, and my suspicion is that the same will hold true here. In that case, my clones will be able to relay information back along the lines to the main body of our cohort.

[ Much more effective than anything he could pull off without the kind of high level spellwork that requires considerable extra reading, and incredibly useful in this context. ]

Thank you for volunteering them. Even a one-way relay will spare us having to separate the party through potentially hostile environments.

[ Not that Itachi needs the utility of his plan laid for him, but there are a lot of plates to spin here and a lot of hazards and missing links he's picking up on only as he goes. For the most part he'll be leaving the management of scout team safety to McCoy and the volunteers better positioned to prioritise it, but that doesn't mean he can't be grateful for whatever aid comes their way. ]
