To those who have recently arrived on the station, welcome. You are the third group to have contracted with the orbs--and I suspect not the last.

Since we have a diverse and changing group, I think it would be ideal for us to set up some sort of regular training schedule for everyone. While our last mission was a success, we were not very prepared for it.

[And exactly 0 of their teambuilding exercises have been about practical skills. He's finding that a little concerning.]

Though it would be better to formulate a practice schedule based on what skills we have and how we can coordinate them.

So, if you have a moment, even if you are not new to the station, please share whatever it is that you are experienced in. It does not have to be combative--just whatever you feel is your specialty.

I am a Mesmer, which is a profession of mage that specializes in illusions and distortions. Thhings such as phantasms, stealth, stuns... I use it mostly in combination with a sword and shield to fight.

((Feel free to threadjack around the post! There will be more concrete follow up for a group-wide training schedule post mission but everyone can share with the class now to facilitate grouping together in the mission.))

I've worked with a lot of different materials back home in making all sorts. Mostly I tend to work with metals, but not exclusively. As long as I'm familiar with the materials I'm working with, I can figure most anything. As long as I'm not ignoring the law of Conservation for example in trying to make something bigger than what I have the materials for. Or uh. Making gold. That's forbidden. So is Human Transmutation.

[For. Obvious ethical reasons and the fact it is not possible to achieve in bringing someone back from the dead, as Ed and Al discovered.]

Alchemy's pretty versatile really. It's basic chemistry.

Both, actually. Bringing someone back from the dead is impossible. But also -- yeah, there's. Obvious ethics involved with that sort of thing.

[Not that it stopped him and Al. But then. They were just kids. Just kids who missed their mother. But Ed's not going around telling the whole station about that.]
