[It's Curious Robot o' Clock.

And as he has tended to do lately, he has a lot of questions with regards to humanity (or just - general sentience as an organic being with free will).]

I will need a name. Please advise.

It is part of the orb's request, that my 'personal goal' requires I allow someone else to name me.

What is the importance of a name, to a human? I've used a name someone from my universe called me, to help conceal my identity; it did not feel like it belonged to me, but it served its purpose temporarily. Instead, I have a serial number associated with me. Something equivalent to an I.P. address to monitor me as an individual within Skynet...

What does it mean to you? Your 'name'?

Do you care for it?

I could call you Tee. T8, Teddy.

We can work with it.

How about Ted, then? Or Theo?

You take this pretty seriously.

How about Derick?

[ Turns out most names refer back to "gift of X" but Bucky is trying to avoid just calling T-800 by a number. ]

You're just a serious person. Even more serious than me.

Derick it is, then. Guess I can't just call you Ricky suddenly, for short?

[ Yeah, Bucky is not helpful here. ]

Yeah, Bucky is short for Buchanan. Which is...not even my first name. So yes, you can be Ricky.

[ He appreciates it! ]

That's fair. I can't imagine being another way, myself. Not anymore.

Yeah. There's no going back.

I'm...becoming okay with it.
