Its been about four weeks. Though I guess I should say Earth weeks. Twenty-seven days since we started turning up. Two since it started happening again.
[Which begs the question, when does it stop? Seventy-two beds on this area of the station. Are they planning to keep going after that?]
Viveca is the name of the AI that spoke to us all then. Some of you may have spoken to her already. She went missing though, a couple of days after we arrived. There was a power cut, she said something about an emergency mode, and then she was gone.
We got a delivery right before that though. Clothes, toiletries, books, food. A bunch of stuff showed up and got split out.
That was when there were twenty-seven of us. Looks like we've about doubled since then. So if you new folks needs something, ask. There's probably someone here who can help.
Speaking of, we're stuck relying on those drops to get fresh food. So don't hog it. There's kids here who need it too.
[Edward]
A guy I know. He cooks up huge batches of food at a time. If you're hungry, check the fridge. Nine times out of ten, he's left something in there you can have.
[And if not, giving Sam a look will probably be more than enough to get him to make something new.]
You've also all probably noticed that you can't get in to the Northern Wing. Its been like that since we first got here, and we've got no idea what's on the other side. It's classified, apparently. Messing with whatever's on the other side would affect us all, so I wouldn't suggest trying to break through.
Don't know about you guys, but I don't plan on getting tossed out an airlock if I can help it.
[And that's it. No sign off. No goodbye. No anything. Sorry?]
[ooc: Feel free to threadjack as much as you like! Bucky's using this post as an information exchange.]

10/10 info, 1/10 style and panache but don't worry, you can always improve!

Seems like you've been here for longer than a lot of us. Was there anyone before you arrived?
And thanks.
For all of the info.
Already tried to break into the northern wing. Didn't work.
Unsurprisingly.

The way Viveca talked about it, messing with whatever's on the other side of those doors would cause a whole lot of problems for us. Easiest way to prevent that is to keep us away.

So. These planets. Can we hunt? Round up more food so we're not waiting around for the next rations?
no subject
We've not been to any planets yet. Guess we need to see if we can bring anything back when we get sent on a mission.

And, we haven't been to a planet yet. There wasn't anybody else here aside from the AI, when the first of us were summoned. I would assume hunting is fine when we arrive on one, though. Depending on what kind of wildlife there is.

I'm not sure about planet since we haven't been off the ship yet but hopefully we'll find out during this upcoming mission if we can bring anything back.

Damn, shortchanging your buddy already? No wonder the Avengers are so disorganized.

Not an Avenger. But they did a pretty good job saving the world more than a few times. Universe too.

we get regular food deliveries again, you just volunteered yourself into being the completely helpful assistant for some basic cooking classes to wrangle people into self-sufficiency.

There's a training room. Has there been any attempt to teach those who can't fight how to do so?
no subject
Don't think anyone's set up anything official. But it'd be worth doing. We don't know what's going to happen when we get sent out on missions.

Kids though. How many of them are there?
[That's pretty much her primary concern after reading all this. She'll worry about the safety of the kids, then focus on the mysterious AI he mentioned.]

At least five of them. Don't know how many more turned up since.

As far as you know, is there any way to send a letter off of this station? Do we have any contact at all?
no subject
Not that I'm aware of. Would you really want to send a message home though? All you're gonna do is make people worry about you.

@fullmetal
[He's used to hunting and fishing after having had to survive on that Island for a month. But that is not exactly an option to get more food here on the station itself.]
no subject
Don't think we can land a space station on a planet. We'd need a ship for that. Someone here probably knows more about space than be though, so they might have some ideas.

( which, via text might sound like he's being passive aggressive or something, but he's not. )
been traveling space for a long time now, so none of this is really new to me anymore. i... guess i can offer some help with stuff like teaching people how to ration properly and reusing things.
but, uh, what's the deal with the northern wing? that's all the info you have?
no subject
There isn't really much to say. It's completely blocked off, with no way of breaking in. Viveca couldn't give us any extra information, and the computers are all restricted.

some of it, xichen can figure out by context but there are two questions that come to mind and are important for survival.] What are 'the fridge' and 'airlock'? I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with these terms and one should be avoided.
no subject
This station is up in space. If you head outside, and you'll freeze to death in a second. There's no air, and no gravity out there. The airlock is a room between inside and outside. You don't want to go anywhere near it.

Aren't you a little worried they don't want us in there because they're hiding something that will jeopardize potentially malicious intentions? What if there's a big sign behind the door that says 'just kidding, we just wanted to kidnap you, we don't fix regrets'?
