I don't recall any member of our crew dying on a mission, but time passes on the station just as it passes in each world. That lead to some issues in the past when looking for the orbs after spending too much time on one planet.
I, personally, am over 5 million years old, but I am an outlier among the organics.

It's not that simple. I can and a few others . . . but most of the soldiers are bound by the Flame Clock.
